Courses

  • Spanish classes are contracted directly with Spaneasy Spanish School. The academy does not guarantee specific classrooms, schedules or teachers. Spaneasy reserves the right to change the schedule if deemed necessary.
  • Classes are taught by appropriately qualified teachers with teaching experience.
  • The groups are small, with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 students per class.
  • The number of classes is different depending on the type of course. Each class lasts 50 minutes.
  • If the circumstance arises that a student’s level of Spanish is inadequate for the reserved course, the school reserves the right to change the level of the student, even if the student had previously taken the level test.
  • The student may make up missed group classes exclusively if the absence is justified for medical reasons, travel (plane / train / bus), an event for work or an exam. A written certificate is required.
  • The student can decide to reorganize an individual class only by informing the school 24 hours in advance.
  • To participate in group courses, a minimum age of 16 is required. There are no age limits for individual classes.
  • To participate in a course, underage students will need an authorization signed by their parents or legal guardian.

Bookings

  • All course reservations made online or by phone are subject to confirmation via email.
  • All courses are subject to the payment of a tuition that will only be paid the first time the student enrolls in our school.
  • Advance payment of a deposit is required to formalize enrollment.
  • Face-to-face classes: the first book is included in the enrollment in all group classes. The intensive immersion course includes 2 books.
  • Online classes: books are not included. Students can purchase them on their own or request them from our center upon payment.
  • Travel expenses, meals, official exam fees and museum tickets are excluded from the price.

Payment
conditions

  • Payment for the course must be completed before the start of classes.
  • In case of payment through Paypal, the school reserves the right to charge a supplement of 5% for administrative fees.
  • Accepted payment methods: credit or debit card, cash, bank transfer, Paypal, Wechat.

Safety

  • The website uses information security techniques generally accepted in the industry, such as firewalls, access control procedures and cryptographic mechanisms, all in order to prevent unauthorized access to data. To achieve these purposes, the user / client accepts that the provider obtains data for the purpose of the corresponding authentication of access controls.
  • We guarantee that each of the transactions carried out in SPANEASY LEARNING it is 100% safe. All operations that involve the transmission of personal or banking data are carried out using a secure environment. SPANEASY LEARNING uses a server based on standard security technology SSL (Secure Socked Layer). All the information that you transmit to us travels encrypted through the network.
  • Likewise, the payment data is not registered in any database but goes directly to the POS (Point of Sale Terminal) of Banco Santander, to the Paypal or WeChat payment service.
  • In addition, we inform you that in an effort to provide greater security to credit card owners, we have incorporated into our payment gateway the secure payment system called CES (Secure Electronic Commerce). In this way, if you are the holder of a “secured” card, you can always make payments with a VISA or MASTERCARD card in our store.
  • In the event that your card is not attached to this payment system, SPANEASY LEARNING It will only accept payment by VISA or MASTERCARD credit card to clients with previously proven seniority and reliability.
  • In both cases, when paying with a VISA or MASTERCARD, the following information will always be requested: the card number, the expiration date, and a Validation Code that matches the last 3 digits of the number printed in italics on the back of your VISA or MASTERCARD card, offering, in this way, more guarantees about the security of the transaction.
  • Important: Credit card fraud is a crime, and SPANEASY LEARNING It will take legal action against anyone who makes a fraudulent transaction in our online store.

Holidays

  • Spaneasy will be closed on holidays. All classes will be made up and no refund is foreseen in case the student does not attend make-up classes.

Changes,
cancellations &
course reductions

Not applicable to students with a study visa.

  • If the student cancels the course 15 or more days before the start date, the full amount paid will be refunded, except for 10% (management costs). If otherwise the cancellation is communicated less than 15 days in advance, the entire payment made in advance will be retained. If the student cancels the course due to force majeure (natural disaster or sanitary measures), they have the right to request a refund. In no case will the course money be reimbursed once the course has started.
  • Once the student is enrolled, they have the right to change the type of course as long as the amount of the new course corresponds or, in case of a higher amount, paying the difference. This option is subject to availability.
  • In case of flight cancellation, medical problems or travel restrictions, it is possible to modify the course dates. If on the new dates chosen by the student there is no availability in the selected course, the school reserves the right to offer an alternative course. 
  • In the exceptional case that there are less than 3 students enrolled in a group course, the school will offer an alternative course with a corresponding economic value. If there is no availability of an alternative course, the school will proceed to refund the total amount paid by the student, within 7 business days of the refund request. 
  • Modifications by Covid-19: when the competent authorities indicate it, the school may change the classroom course for online classes. If the student wishes to keep the course in person, they have the option of stopping the classes and resuming them as soon as possible.  
  • If the center is forced to cancel any type of course due to force majeure (natural disaster, sanitary measures, etc.) the student is entitled to a full refund. 

Reservation & cancelation
policy for study visa students

  • Spaneasy requires the payment of a deposit through the website or by bank transfer to reserve the course. 
  • The amount of the deposit will be established by Spaneasy and communicated in writing. 
  • The student will receive the Invitation Letter by email once the school has received the deposit payment.
  • The remaining amount will have to be paid on the first day of class. 
  • If the student decides to receive the letter by mail, the postage will be at his / her expense.
  • If the visa process is delayed, it is possible to change the start date of the course and receive a new Invitation Letter by email.
  • It is not possible to cancel the course or modify its duration after receiving the Invitation Letter.
  • In the event that the visa is denied, the school will refund the deposit for the course (except for 10% of management costs) as long as the student presents the official denial letter, issued by the embassy / consulate / foreigners or corresponding body.  
  • Modifications by Covid-19: when the competent authorities indicate it, the school may change the classroom course for online classes. 
  • If the center is forced to cancel any type of course due to force majeure (natural disaster, sanitary measures, etc.) the student is entitled to a full refund. 

Accomodation

  • Payment of a deposit of € 100 is required to confirm the reservation. This amount will be returned one week after the end of the stay, as long as the student has not caused damage or damage.
  • For reservations of less than 3 months, payment of the total amount is required at least one week before arrival.
  • After the first 3 months, a prorated payment can be made, due on the first business day of each month.
  • The student staying with a host family will have to complete a questionnaire, indicating allergies, health problems or specific needs. Spaneasy is committed to providing a family that meets the requirements indicated by the student and in the event that more students stay, who are of similar ages.
  • It is possible to request a change of accommodation if a problem arises, including problems of cultural misunderstanding with other students.
  • It is possible to cancel the accommodation reservation 15 or more days before the start of the stay without losing the deposit.
  • Underage students may stay exclusively with a host family, after signing an authorization by the parents or legal guardian.

Complementary activities or
additional services

  • The activities and additional services offered can be carried out by Spaneasy or by collaborating companies. Each week the school publishes a calendar, specifying the available activities, price, characteristics and reservation conditions. Once a service that provides for a payment has been booked, the amount will not be refunded unless it cannot be adequately provided by the provider under the terms set forth. If the student has booked an activity with a date and time and does not attend, the amount will not be reimbursed, unless they give sufficient notice to cancel the service or activity. 
  • Underage students need the written authorization of their parents or legal guardian to participate in activities that take place outside the Spaneasy facilities.

Discounts &
promotions

  • Discounts are not cumulative and will only apply if they are communicated before registration.
A NON-OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE WILL BE ISSUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH UNREGULATED EDUCATION LEGISLATION
